About Dog People Are Cool ®

Founded in 2014, Dog People Are Cool® (DPAC) is a San Diego-based apparel company whose mission is to make the world a better place one dog, one person, one community at a time.

The name of our company was born on a normal sunny day in California. It was created by a normal guy with a normal dog at a dog park like any other. But we strive to be anything but normal. We want to be spectacular. We want to be fantastic. We want to be amazing. The only way to truly achieve that level of awesomeness is to make a difference. Beginning this year, Dog People Are Cool® will donate 10% of its profits to various charity partners nationwide.

We are especially proud of our national partnership with Paws for Purple Hearts. PPH helps veterans with PTSD train service dogs for their comrades with combat-related injuries. Their entire organization is built on the time-honored tradition of veterans helping veterans. As a country, we need to do everything possible to help our returning servicemen and women.

Our causes at Dog People Are Cool® include shelters, senior dog rescues, low-cost spay and neuter services, and military charities involving service dogs. We are inspired by stories of ordinary dog lovers doing extraordinary things. We are inspired by organizations that save lives, both canine and human. When you do business with us you help make this world a better place one dog, one person, one community at a time. We’d love for you to join us!

MISSION:

Our mission is simple. We want to live up to our company name. Our goal is to have a company we can be proud of. The only way to do that is to spread love, compassion, and awareness throughout the dog and military communities. Using the sales of our positively-branded, quality products, we will let people know that dog people are cool and really make a difference.

VISION

There are hundreds of thousands of wonderful dogs waiting to be rescued. Humans have a responsibility to every single dog that is currently in a shelter. We realize some dogs need to be bred and trained for special service: police dogs, PTSD service dogs, therapy dogs, hunting dogs etc. However, Dog People Are Cool believes you should visit your local shelter and look into the eyes of all those loving dogs instead of buying from a puppy mill or backyard breeder. No matter where you get your dog, spay and neuter them early to decrease the population of shelter dogs and end this cycle.

VALUES

Charity, Community, Compassion, Love, Positivity, Quality.
